Pastor Mike Avato
Pastor Mike received his B.S. degree from the Florida International University and his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. As the founding pastor of Tradewinds, he has worked bi-vocationally as pastor and a licensed general contractor of his own company. He is an ordained minister in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARP).
A Note From Pastor Mike:
As a congregation, we have all in someway been transformed by move from St. Pete Beach to South Pasadena. We are all going through the process of transformation. The Bible calls this discipleship and theologians sometimes call it sanctification. But whatever we call it, the Spirit is at work in our hearts making and working His will out in and through us. I am amazed at your faithfulness to God in response to each new challenge.
As your pastor, it has been encouraging to watch how you have labored unselfishly for the good of the people and the hope of the gospel. May the Lord richly bless you!
